Bespoke Training for people who work with young people - Prices available on consultation
As professionals who work with young people, you are in a crucial position.
If you work with young people and families, you will know that we are currently living in a time of mental health crisis. Demand for services is up, suicide rates are the highest they have been since 1999 and yet access to services continues to be a challenge for many.
You may well be the first person that notices, or has a conversation with a person who is struggling with their mental health. As such, it is important that you have skills and abilities in order to safeguard and support the people you are working with, while also maintaining your own mental health and wellbeing.
Nurse Led Wellbeing can offer bespoke mental health training packages, delivered by senior mental health practitioners, and designed collaboratively with yourselves to meet your training needs. These courses will enhance your team's skills, and build resilience within your staff.
Examples of training available:
Managing distress and de-escalation skills
Understanding Self Harm
Having difficult conversations
How to manage risks associated with mental health in the school setting
Maintaining your mental health
Creating a safe space to talk
Understanding the mental healthcare system
As a trained and experienced clinical supervisor and Nurse Mentor I can also offer private clinical supervision for NHS services as well as those embarking in private practice.
